Since Pepero Day in South Korea is celebrated similarly to Valentine's Day, I thought I'd give a special tribute to these special snack.
If you've been curious what Pepero is, well these chocolate sticks are like Japan's Pocky and it comes in different varieties like strawberry and white chocolate. I bought this box of Pepero Almond Sticks at a Korean grocery near Panay Ave. This is my prefered "flavor" over the choco-filled sticks and the original chocolate Pepero sticks they have over at the store.
The chocolate is creamy and the almonds add more crunchiness to the stick. A real good snack or dessert for only Php45 a box.
